Villanova University Food Service
November 2005
Problem:
Uncontrollable odors and bacteria in food service preparation.
Solution:
Villlanova purchased a generator from the manufacturer following
a trade show visit.
“We have experienced mold problems in many of our refrigerators
on campus, including off odors for years, not being able to eliminate
the problem. The manufacturer claimed to be able to eliminate our
problems with one treatment. They came on site and in two hours,
solved our problems in one of our boxes…
The alternatives had already been explored and were not effective.
We did not pursue other OZONE generators for comparison. It is my
undertanding that there are not competitors in this market…based
on the reactions of my staff, I would consider using an outside
contractor to come on campus to perform the OZONE services.
I think this is a product and service ahead of its time and very
much needed. Operators are not aware of the effectiveness. You are
on the cusp of a major break through, in my opinion.
I would recommend …their break through product.”
